Apple: Cannes 2026
Fourteen portraits. Fourteen conversations. One visual language.
For Apple Ads’ Cannes Lions 2026 activation, I traveled across the United States photographing Fortune 500 Chief Marketing Officers whose work would be featured during the festival. Working across multiple cities, locations, and tightly scheduled sessions, the challenge wasn’t simply to create fourteen successful portraits—it was to build a body of work that felt cohesive while allowing each individual to remain unmistakably themselves.
Rather than relying on elaborate production, the portraits were shaped through observation. I believe the strongest images come from paying closer attention to the person than the camera. Light, gesture, posture, hesitation, confidence—small moments that reveal character often matter more than performance.
The resulting series became a constellation of human presence. Different industries, different histories, different personalities, connected through a shared visual language built on curiosity, restraint, and attention. Shot entirely on iPhone, the work demonstrates that compelling portraiture isn’t defined by the complexity of the equipment, but by the depth of attention given to the person in front of the lens.
